November 14-20: Devlog #1
Devlog #1
Description:
This project is being done for school; I'm hoping that by the end of the school year (July) I have a working, polished, and decent looking game. I'm aiming for this to be more of a demo project without systems such as a deck-building interface, online multiplayer, or tons of cards due to time constraints.
Gameplay:
I'm not going to go too far into gameplay as not a lot of it is set in stone but once its playable in the game it will be more apparent.
The gameplay will work on a 5x5 grid with tiles (tiles are cards), you'll have a deck of cards, and the goal is to occupy as many spots as possible on the board within 10 turns. The twist is your cards also attack in every direction so you can strategically remove the other persons tiles from the board by planning ahead and keeping track of the positions of all your tiles.
Updates:
I didn't do anything crazy this week, mostly just setup and project infrastructure.
- Basic project setup and maintenance
- Custom resource setup (for decks and cards)
- Some early art mostly to figure out workflow and style
- Some UI layouts and setup

🦆 Ducks of a Feather 🦆
A flurry of feathers and quacks. A gaggle of ducks who are... for someone reason battling?
