December 12-18: Devlog #4

Devlog #4!

So, big week. I didn't get a ton done but... first alpha! (beta? I can't decide. I'm gonna go with alpha for now) Below ill write a quick summary of what I did. Right, back to alpha, this is mostly for testing purposes, so people following along with the project can try it. (If you find a bug or have feedback, please comment). I will try to add an updated version of the game to Itch every time I release a dev log.

Updates:

- Bug fixes (kind of boring but it needs to be done)

- A pretty nice-looking menu with physics ducks. I know it's genius.

- Santa Duck!

- Updated GUI and turn indicators

How To Play: (Temporary)

I'm not gonna go too in-depth but here's what you need to play: 2 people (or 1 if you want to play against each other) and a trackpad/mouse. The goal of the game is to place as many cards as you can on as many tiles as you can. You're probably thinking "Wow that's pretty simple," then you realize that these ducks are somewhat violent and engage in feathered, fearsome, combat! It's pretty simple: Each card has 4 attacks (1 in each direction) after both turns your cards will attack in that direction (FYI: the cards with the lowest health will attack first).
